Hello, thank you for taking time to visit my site. I'm your SoCal (Southern California) Filipino Chef born and raise in the Philippines now residing in LA to pursue my passion in cooking.

I enjoy cooking at home it's how I express myself having connection with food I make. Most of the recipes I share on this blog is mainly filipino cuisine but I also like to mix things up and experiment different flavors from different cuisines. 

My inspiration in cooking is my Dad. That's why I named my blog Kusina ED. His name is Eduardo aka "ED". I got my cooking skills from him as he already taught me since I was a kid. He is the cook in the house and now we cook together in the kitchen. It is our bonding moment as kusineros!
