Margarita Chicken Wings
Updated: Feb 6
When you go to a house party, do you bring food or drinks? I always bring food and occasionally some wine or liquors. The reason why I don't buy drinks it's because I'm not good in choosing the right one for the party. Everyone has their own taste and preference so I always end up buying beer instead. Like they said it's better to be safe than sorry. ;D
Speaking of drinks, my wife has been drinking Margarita lately. She loves it! I mean who doesn't like Margarita, right? It's her favorite drink after red wine. Every time we go to the store she always ask me if we still have enough tequila in the house, she doesn't like to be empty handed. Ayayay! I make sure we have something in the shelf at least a bottle or two. :) I love tequila, one of my favorite is Jose Cuervo blue agave. Patron is better but it's a bit expensive so I occasionally get to drink on it.
Since my wife and I are patrons of Margarita, today's recipe is inspired on that drink and so I'm making Margarita Chicken Wings! I thought this recipe is a party starter, it's a perfect finger food that offers a unique twist from typical buffalo wings.
Now get in the kitchen and try this recipe. Don't forget to invite me on your next Super Bowl party (well I can come virtually :D ). Enjoy!
1lb chicken wings
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp tequila
1/4 cup margarita mix
1 lemon wedge and parsley for garnish.
Side Note: To get more flavor of the margarita add extra tbsp or two of tequila.
